DUBAI – Starting on January 2, 2020, Abu Dhabi is going to charge motorists Dh4 for each time they pass through any of the four toll gates in the capital.
Toll gates are found on Sheikh Zayed Bridge, Al Maqtaa Bridge, Mussafah Bridge and Sheikh Khalifa Bridge. Here’s how motorists can register for an account:
Owners of Abu Dhabi-registered vehicles will have accounts automatically created for them. Details will be sent visa SMS on the mobile number registered with Abu Dhabi Police. In case they didn’t get the SMS, they can contact 80088888.
Create an account on itps.itc.gov.ae, or dot.gov.abudhabi by clicking on the Abu Dhabi toll gate system link on the left dashboard. Provide your Emirates ID details, licence plate details, email and mobile number and make the payment. The minimum payment is Dh100 per vehicle, with Dh50 credited back to your account after registration is completed.
