DUBAI – Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has gotten married, according to the Dubai Media Office on Thursday (May 16).
Sheikh Hamdan married Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed bin Thani Al Maktoum in a religious ceremony on Wednesday evening, the government media office confirmed.
His brothers, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Ahmad bin Mohammed, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, were also married on Wednesday.
Sheikh Maktoum married Sheikha Mariam bint Butti Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Ahmad married Sheikha Midya bint Dalmouj Al Maktoum.
The sons of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, signed an official marriage contract during the Islamic wedding. A wedding ceremony is expected to follow.
Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, posted a photo of her brothers while sending out a message of congratulations to the newly weds.
