Zipline, giant swing and new adventure spots coming in Khorfakkan

A new adventure spots are coming in Khorfakkan, the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) has announced.

The adventure projects include a zipline, a giant swing, a dry-slide track, hiking tracks and mountain bike tracks.  The project also includes an observation deck and a restaurant on the mountain top that offers breathtaking views of the landscape and the adventure track routes.

The project is overlooking the Luluyah Beach and is adjacent to the Al Soueifa Mountain, said Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Shurooq. It is expected to be completed by late 2023.

Al Qaseer said that the project will also include varied amenities for visitors and tourists from the eastern region and across the UAE.

He said that the project is under the directives of Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to boost Sharjah’s position as one of the most appealing tourist destinations in the region. ICA/Expat Media
