In a city of superlatives, a running track on the rooftop of a building in Dubai has set a new Guinness world record as the highest running track in the world.

The record-breaking running track is called Sky Track on the 43rd floor of 1 Residences, a luxury residential tower at Wasl1 in Zabeel. The running track sits 157m above ground.

Sky Track stretches 335m to allow visitors to run or walk while enjoying a bird’s eye view of the skyline of Dubai.

“This track isn’t just a feat of engineering, but a symbol of Dubai’s commitment [to] reaching for the skies—both literally and metaphorically,” said Talal Omar, Guinness World Records’ Vice President for MENA and Turkiye.

1 Residences and its Sky Track are projects of Dubai-based real estate developer Wasl. “We remain steadfast in our commitment to creating projects that inspire and improve the well-being of residents and communities,” said Hesham Al Qassim, CEO of Wasl. ICA/Expat Media
