Seven adults and three children were killed when a fire engulfed a Pennsylvania home in the early hours of Friday.
A volunteer firefighter who rushed to put out the blaze in the area was horrified to learn that the victims were his family.
According to authorities, a criminal investigation into the fire is ongoing. The children who died in the fire were ages 5, 6, and 7, Pennsylvania State Police said in a news release.
Firefighter Harold Baker of the Nescopeck Volunteer Fire Co. revealed that among the 10 victims were his son, daughter, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, three grandchildren, and two other relatives.
Around 2.30 am, the fire was reported at the station. Shortly after rescue personnel arrived, one victim was discovered dead inside the single-family home. The other two fatalities were discovered later in the morning. BKM/ Expat Media
