UAE Weather Forecast: August 14 to 18

The UAE will experience a slight drop in temperatures, with generally partly cloudy days expected this week, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The maximum temperature on Monday (August 14) is expected to reach 47°C in internal areas, while humidity will peak at 85 percent in coastal areas and islands.

There is also a chance of rainfall on Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, according to the weather bureau. Here’s the 5-day UAE weather forecast:

Monday, August 14

Fair to partly cloudy in general and some clouds will appear Eastward and Southward maybe convective by afternoon. Humid by night and Tuesday morning over some coastal areas with a probability of mist formation. Light to moderate winds, freshening at times during daytime. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.

Tuesday, August 15

Fair to partly cloudy, with a probability of convective cloud formation Eastward by afternoon and temperature will increase. Light to moderate Southeasterly becoming Northwesterly winds, freshening at times during daytime causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 Km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.

Wednesday, August 16

Fair to partly cloudy, with a chance of convective cloud formation Eastward with a probability of rainfall by afternoon. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 Km/hr. The sea will be slight to moderate at times in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.

Thursday, August 17

Fair to partly cloudy, low clouds will appear over the Eastern coast by morning with a chance of convective cloud formation Eastward and Southward by afternoon with a probability of rainfall. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times during daytime causing blowing dust and sand, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 Km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.

Friday, August 18

Fair to partly cloudy, low clouds will appear over the Eastern coast by morning with a chance of convective cloud formation Eastward by afternoon. Light to moderate Southeasterly becoming Northwesterly winds, freshening at times during daytime causing blowing dust, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 Km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea.
