UAE weather: Authorities issue fog alert with horizontal visibility set to drop

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the day will mostly be clear to partly overcast.

It will be humid at night and on Saturday morning, with a chance of fog or mist forming over some internal and coastal locations.

Authorities have issued a fog alert. Horizontal visibility is set to drop.

From 2 am to 9 am, visibility may drop even further over some coastal and interior areas.

The nation might experience highs of 33 °C. In Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the mercury is expected to climb to 33ºC.

However, temperatures can drop as low as 21°C in Abu Dhabi, 23°C in Dubai, and 16°C internal areas.

The relative humidity in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will be between 30 to 90 percent.

Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds will blow with a speed of 10km/h to 20km/h reaching 30km/h.

The Oman Sea and the Arabian Gulf will have mild sea conditions. BKM/ Expat Media
