Residents get visit visas for first, second-degree relatives

The Federal Authority for Identification and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) stated that only first- and second-degree relatives could be granted a UAE visit visa.

ICP made it clear that, following the decision on the controls of entry and residence of foreigners, a requirement for the issuance of a visit visa includes a friend or relative coming to the UAE.

The resident of the country may only get a visit visa relative for their first or second-degree relatives.

“There is a list of professions of the first level which includes 131 jobs, while the list of the second level includes 328 jobs,” ICP stated.

Moreover, it is also necessary that the resident occupies one of the positions within the first or second professional level. KD/Expat Media
