DUBAI – The UAE on Wednesday (January 13) reported the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the country with 3,362 testing positive for coronavirus in 24 hours.
The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention also said that 2,588 people have recovered from the virus, while six others died.
Wednesday’s figures bring the UAE’s total number of Covid-19 cases to 239,587, and the tola number of recoveries to 213,149. The death toll stands at 723.
Meanwhile, authorities have carried out 134,768 Covid-19 tests in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of tests to more than 21.7 million. ICA/Expat Media
