UAE: How to apply for multi-entry tourist visa

The UAE authorities have released information about the multi-entry tourist visa that will allow foreign individuals to enter the country.

The visa is valid for five years and costs Dh650, which includes a Dh500 visa fee, a Dh50 service charge, and a Dh100 application fee.

According to officials at the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security, citizens of any country can apply for a multi-entry visa without the assistance of sponsors or other intermediaries.

Visa applications can be submitted through icp.gov.ae or through the UAEICP app.

The long-term visa allows visitors to stay in the UAE for up to 180 days each year.

Requirements:

  • A return flight ticket is mandatory to obtain a multi-entry tourist visa.
  • The address of the place of stay in the UAE should be mentioned in the application. If the applicant plans to stay at a hotel, the address should be included.
  • The applicant’s passport should have a validity of at least six months.
  • Incomplete applications will be rejected. If further action is not taken on such applications within 30 days, they would become invalid. Faulty applications which are returned three times by the authorities also could be considered rejected.
  • Applications on which procedures are not completed by designated dates would invite additional fees. BKM/ Expat Media
