The Ajman Police issued a fresh reminder to pedestrians on Monday (June 3) to abide by the UAE’s traffic rules for their own safety.

In a post on X, Ajman Police urged pedestrians to cross only in pedestrian crossings, warning that crossing the road in undesignated areas will be punishable with a fine of Dh400.

The authority also warned pedestrians that crossing the road when the traffic light indicates stop for pedestrians is also a violation. Those who do not follow traffic light signals at pedestrian crossings will be fined Dh400. ICA/Expat Media
