A self-flying aircraft made in the UAE has been unveiled in Abu Dhabi.

The GY300 prototype, which looks like a mini helicopter, is on display at the UMEX and SimTEX 2024 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

Visitors have a last chance to check out the aircraft on Thursday (January 25) on the last day of the expo for robotics, AI and unmanned systems.

The GY300 is an unmanned aircraft designed for short takeoff and landing on rough terrain. Creator EDGE Group described it as a “low-maintenance and cost-effective drone” that is capable of carrying up to 300kg. ICA/Expat Media
