UAE announces disease-free certificate as a new entry permit requirement

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Port Security has mandated that a disease-free certificate be presented as one of the requirements for issuing entry permits to nationals of certain countries who are exempt from applying for a visa before visiting the UAE.

According to an Emarat Al Youm report, this is in addition to the previously stated requirements of an original passport and a colored personal photo.

The authority stated that the mandatory and optional documents might differ depending on the information provided in the visa application.

According to the authority’s website, the procedures for issuing entry permits to the UAE are carried out through various channels. These include the authority’s website, smart application, Customer Happiness Centres, or the nearest authorized typing office. BKM/ Expat Media
