Two Indian expats found dead in Dubai villa, 1 declared dead on arrival at hospital

Two Indian expats were found dead in their shared villa, while a third one was declared dead on arrival at the hospital, according to reports on Thursday (July 11).

The incident happened in Al Rafah area on Sunday (July 7). The men, from Rajasthan in India, were reportedly employees of a local maintenance company where they had worked for more than five years.

An investigation is underway to find the cause of death. Sources say that authorities are looking at food poisoning or inhalation of toxic chemicals as the possible cause.

A friend of the one of the deceased said that trio were out the whole night and only returned to their room in the early hours of Sunday.

At 12pm, one of the deceased reportedly called a friend to say that he was unable to breathe. Emergency services were alerted. Police and medics at the scene said two of the men were found dead while a third man was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. ICA/Expat Media
