DUBAI – A suspect in a deadly stabbing incident in Sharjah on Saturday has been arrested, police said.
Police did not reveal the suspect’s identity but said he was arrested with the help of co-workers who restrained him and handed him over to police.
Police said the suspect had stabbed to death a 27-year-old Indian man in Sharjah’s Al Sajja area.
It is not clear what sparked the attack, but police said that the victim worked at a car wash company in Sharjah.
The victim, identified as D. Naveen from Telangana in India, died after he was stabbed in the stomach.
