Wynn Ras Al Khaimah is currently under construction on Al Marjan island.

The Middle East’s first gaming resort is opening in Ras Al Khaimah in 2027 and the developer on Monday (May 6) released images of what Wynn Ras Al Khaimah will look like.

The beachfront resort is currently under construction on Al Marjan island where it will take up nearly 62 hectares of space. Wynn Ras Al Khaimah will be a 300-metre-tall resort tower.

Todd Lenahan, President and Chief Creative Officer of Wynn Design and Development, said the tower of Wynn Ras Al Khaimah symbolizes “Ras Al Khaimah’s historic role as a great navigational sentinel.”

“We hope this becomes a new landmark, a new beacon, for travelers to Ras Al Khaimah from across the globe,” Lenahan said.

Wynn Ras Al Khaimah will have 1,542 rooms and suites, including 22 private villa estates, as well as an extensive poolscape adjacent to the beach with multiple swimming and wading pools, water features, private cabanas, and tropical landscaping covering 3.6 hectares.

There will also be a 15,000sqm shopping esplanade and a sprawling convention centre for meetings and events half this size. ICA/Expat Media
