Security drill happening in Al Shindagha: No photos allowed, Dubai Police warns

The Dubai Police has alerted residents that it will conduct a mock security drill on Thursday (May 30) and warned that no photography is allowed.

The Dubai Police said that the mock drill will take place at 10pm in the Al Shindagha area.

The public has been advised to keep a safe distance from the training areato ensure that roads are clear for police units and patrols participating in the drill.

Under UAE rules, it is illegal to take photos or videos of “restricted areas”, such asmilitary areas, palaces, courts, embassies and government buildings. Violators face penalties of up to three months in jail and a fine of up to Dh5,000. ICA/Expat Media
