Roof collapses in Ras Al Khaimah, residents given accommodation


DUBAI – An investigation is underway after the roof of a house collapsed in Ras Al Khaimah.

No one was reported injured in the incident in Al Seih area. The collapse severely damaged one of the rooms, with thick slabs of fallen concrete covering the floor.

The Ras Al Khaimah family left homeless after the roof collapsed has been given has been given accommodation, thanks to Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.

Sheikh Mansour heard about the plight of the family members and ordered that they be given immediate accommodation through the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works.
