Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah pardons 110 prisoners

 

DUBAI – The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah has pardoned 110 prisoners ahead of Eid Al Adha, the ruler’s office announced on Sunday (July 26).

The prisoners from the Penal and Correctional Establishment in Ras Al Khaimah are expected to be released soon.

Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, hoped to give the prisoners a fresh start in life.

The pardoned prisoners are from various nationalities and were serving various sentences. They were pardoned based on their good conduct in jail. ICA/Expat Media
