DUBAI – Now that he has stepped back from British monarchy, it would appear that Prince Harry would have to look for a job. What is his dream job?
A journalist who interviewed the prince in South Africa in 2006 said that the young royal had often talked about wanting to lead a “normal” life.
In her Daily Mail report, Rebecca English quoted Harry as saying, “I would love to just go and work as a tour guide, you know? Just go off into the bush and be me.”
Harry and wife Meghan Markle recently announced their decision to give up their royal titles to seek a more independent life.
English said that Prince Harry would often speak to her about “just wanting to be normal.”
Last week, Prince Harry spoke for the first time since announcing that he has stepped back from the monarchy: “I want you to hear the truth from me, as much as I can share not as a Prince, or a Duke, but as Harry, the same person that many of you have watched grow up over the last 35 years but with a clearer perspective.”
Harry, Meghan and their son Archie recently moved to Canada where they are transitioning into their new lives.
Meanwhile, Prince William received a new royal title from the Queen Elizabeth after Harry’s royal exit.
On Saturday, Prince William was appointed as the new Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.
The new title means Prince William will be the British Monarchy’s main representative to the Church of Scotland.
