Dubai-based Pinas Cargo Express and Clearing LLC celebrated its 10th anniversary on Monday (February 5).
In a statement, the company recalled its “humble beginnings” when it opened in Dubai in 2014 with just three staff members catering to Dubai-based Filipinos. It now has 140 employees in the UAE and 220 employees in the Philippines as well as a fleet of 27 cargo trucks, according to Pinas Cargo.
This year, Pinas Cargo is opening a branch in Qatar. It is also eyeing entry into the Canadian market while growing its presence in the United States.
Pinas Cargo CEO Marlyn Castro says the growing demand for cargo services has fueled her cargo company’s steady growth, even during the pandemic. ICA/Expat Media
