Mass coronavirus testing continues across the UAE.

PCR test in Dubai now Dh150 at government hospitals

DUBAI – The price of the Covid-19 nasal swab Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests at government hospitals has been reduced to Dh150, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced on Tuesday (September 29).

Private clinics and hospitals will not be able to charge more than Dh250 for the test, the authority added.

Previously, the PCR test costs around Dh370, but the DHA ordered that this be reduced to Dh250 on September 13 to make it more accessible to the public.

Periodic tests are mandatory for certain service sector workers. In Abu Dhabi, authorities also require a negative PCR test result from anyone who wants to enter the capital. ICA/Expat Media
