DUBAI – OFW Got Talent—the first of its kind competition—has opened with a top prize of P150,000 (Dh10,700) for the most talented Filipinos in the UAE and GCC.
Open to registered Overseas Filipino Workers in the UAE and GCC, registration is currently underway, with shortlisted contestants to feature in a live audition in Dubai on January 15.
The contest is open to solo, duo or group performers, with any unique talent to showcase in a 3-minute to 5-minute performance.
Selected contestants will move on to the semi-finals on February 5, and then the grand finals on March 5 in Dubai.
The grand prize stands at P150,000, while first prize and second prize are P50,000 (Dh3,577) and P30,000 (Dh2,146) respectively.
“We want to awaken the talent within every Filipino, and the competition isn’t limited to just singing and dancing,” said Noela Cuizon, Managing Owner of Cuizon International Events, the event organizer.
