UAE tourist visa for Dh650 doesn’t need guarantor

A new UAE multi-entry tourist visa that is valid for five years is now available for Dh650 and it doesn’t require a guarantor, sponsor or intermediary, the federal authority has clarified.

According to the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Ports Security, all nationalities can apply directly for the new multi-entry tourist visa.

Applications must be done through the authority’s website icp.gov.ae or the UAEICP smart app. Applicants can also visit the authority’s customer service centers in the UAE.

The Dh650 fee includes Dh100 application fee, Dh500 visa issuance fee, and Dh50 electronic service fee. The visa will be issued via email.

According to the authority, the visa is valid for five years and is issued without the applicant needing a guarantor.

The multi-entry visa will allow the holder to stay in the UAE for a continuous period of up to 90 days. The visa can be renewed for up to 180 days per year.

Applicants must provide proof of a six-month bank balance of $4,000, or its equivalent in foreign currencies, a health insurance valid in UAE, a ticket to and from the country, and proof of a place of residence, that is hotel or residence address, a passport valid for at least six months, and a coloured photograph.

Applications with incomplete supporting documents or incorrect data will be cancelled electronically after 30 days, and fines will be imposed in this case. Refunds will be given for rejected applications. ICA/Expat Media
