DUBAI – A new sculpture sitting in Downtown Dubai is out to tell the world that there’s plenty of love to go around.
The three-dimensional, mirrored steel “Love Me” heart sculpture first appeared at the Dubai Mall last year and grown, quite literally, on a much larger scare this year.
The sculpture, which stands at five metres and weighs over 7,0000kg, was so big it had to be transported in pieces and assembled onsite.
Master sculptor Richard Hudson created the heart sculpture as “all-encompassing in its symbolism of love and peace – and an icon image that crosses all boundaries”.
The unique sculpture has been positioned to reflect the Burj Khalifa on its mirrored steel surface. GAD/Expat Media
