DUBAI – Dubai Metro’s Route 2020 featuring seven metro stations and the breathtaking Expo 2020 Station has been inaugurated. Here’s all you need to know.

The 7 new stations are located along the Dubai Metro Route 2020.
It is a 15-kilometre route that will lead to the Expo 2020 Dubai Metro Station.
It will open to the public in September.
It cost Dh11 billion.
The Expo 2020 Station. The station features a unique design that looks like the wings of an aircraft. The station—decorated in blue inside—also features a monument inspired by Sheikh Mohammed’s poem.
Route 2020 has a capacity of 46,000 riders per hour in both directions. The Roads and Transport Authority expects the number of riders to reach 125,000 per day in 2021.
