New Covid-19 vaccine center opens in Abu Dhabi

DUBAI – A new Covid-19 vaccination centre has opened in Abu Dhabi’s Masdar City as part of the national vaccination campaign.

Vaccinations are being provided free of charge at the new facility.

The new vaccination centre in Masdar City will initially serve Emiratis and expatriates aged 50 and above, as well as those with chronic illnesses and disabilities.

The first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine will be available at the walk-in centre for the priority groups mentioned.

People under the age of 50 who are waiting to get their second dose can also head to the vaccination centre.

The vaccination centre is open from Sunday to Thrusday from 10am to 7pm. There is currently no appointment required and visitors only need to present their Emirates ID and download the Al Hosn app on their mobile phone.

“As Mubadala Group, we are honoured to support the UAE’s national goal of providing free Covid-19 vaccinations for all of the country’s citizens and residents,” said Abdulla Balalaa, Acting Executive Director, Sustainable Real Estate, Masdar City.

The vaccination centre in Masdar City has allocated a car park outside the Siemens building for visitors, who can also use a free buggy service to drop them off from the car park to the center. ICA/Expat Media
