Miss Universe 2022 competition date, time revealed

Miss Universe organization reveals date, time of competition

Paula Shugart, head of the Miss Universe Organization, has revealed that the 2022 competition will take place in January 2023.

“MISS UNIVERSE will air around the world on January 14, 2023. Stay tuned for more information on the official Miss Universe app,” Shugart announced in a tweet.

The organizing body also revealed the venue of the pageant.

“The moment you’ve been waiting for… The #71stMISSUNIVERSE Competition is heading to… NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA!,” Shugart added.

In an interview last September 15, Shugart said, “It’s a location where people have fun. It’s built for tourism, culture, food, and fun.”

The 71st Miss Universe Competition is set to have 88 contestants. BKM/ Expat Media
