DUBAI – A baby boy born just 60 seconds after midnight on June 4 became the first baby to be born in the UAE on Eid Al Fitr this year.
Baby Ali Mohamad Al Shaikh was delivered through caesarian section at Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi. He weighed just 3.91 kilos.
His parents, Mohamad Yaser Al Shaikh and Kholood Salem Al Dhaheri, expressed their joy at being “blessed with a healthy baby” and thanked the hospital staff for their support.
Dr. Sausan Abdul Rahman, gynecologist at Burjeel Hospital, said the medical team was happy and proud “to be a part of the birth on such a significant day”. GAD/Expat Media
