DUBAI – Manchester City FC superstar Raheem Sterling has urged fans in the UAE to get behind the team ahead of the Premier League title decider, which will take place on Sunday (May 12).
Hundreds of supporters will gather for a City Live! event in Abu Dhabi to watch the match – and the goalscoring attacker has sent them a special video message.
Manchester City FC is hosting a special screening of the highly anticipated Man City v Brighton title decider on Sunday evening along with an iftar buffet for all fans.
The event starts at 4:30pm, with the match due to kick off at 6pm. The game will be broadcast live on two screens at the Mubadala Arena, next to Zayed Sports City Stadium in Zayed Sports City, Abu Dhabi.
Those who are observing Ramadan will be able to break fast during half time with a special iftar buffet for families.
The title-defining Premier League match will see Man City travel to the Amex Stadium to take on Brighton and Hove for the final day of the season. Man City currently holds a one-point advantage over second-placed Liverpool, who will play host to Wolves.
Manchester City fans in the UAE have watched the team win several trophies in the eight years the club has organised live screenings of major matches – including three Premier League titles. ICA/Expat Media
