“I’m in Dubai right now but since there are so many Pinoy here, I keep on speaking Tagalog so naturally,” Dara said in her caption.

Dara naturally switched from Filipino to Korean and English when asking for her friends’ choice of beverages while also translating the orders to the waitress.

Sandara Park or Dara first rose to fame in the Philippines as a contestant in Star Circle Quest, a Filipino talent show in 2004.

She returned to South Korea in 2007 and debuted in 2009 as a member of the sensational K-pop group — 2NE1.

Park is one of the most well-known South Korean celebrities in the Philippines, where she is famously dubbed the “Pambansang Krung-Krung” by her Filipino fans.

Amidst her international success, Dara remains close to the hearts of the Filipinos who warmly supported her from the early stages of her career up to this day. BKM/ Expat Media
