DUBAI – Police are investigating the death of a 15-year-old Indian teenager who fell from a residential building in Sharjah.
A police official said on Saturday (December 7) that investigators have not ruled out suicide in the Friday incident on the 10th floor of the Sharjah building.
The official said that the Indian teen suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Kuwaiti Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police from the Al Gharb Police Station are investigating the incident and have summoned the teen’s parents for questioning.
Last month, a 16-year-old Jordanian died after jumping off the balcony of a fourth floor apartment in a building in Sharjah’s Al Qassimyah area.
According to police investigation, the teen committed suicide after an alleged argument with his father.
