The head of the UN’s nuclear agency, Rafael Grossi claims that a massive Russian-invaded nuclear power plant in Ukraine is completely out of control.
The Associated Press news agency quoted Grossi saying that the Zaporizhzhia plant needed an inspection and repairs.
The largest nuclear reactor in Europe is dangerously close to the war zone. Furthermore, the plant is currently operated by Ukrainian staff under Russian control.
The director-general of the IAEA stated that he was attempting to put together a mission to inspect the plant, but due to the risks associated with entering a combat zone, the consent of both the Russian and Ukrainian sides is needed. BKM/ Expat Media
