Global Village Now Open: New Attractions Unveiled

The Global Village reopened on Wednesday (October 18), welcoming an enthusiastic crowd of visitors to its 28th season.

The popular entertainment and leisure destination in Dubai will run until April 28, 2024.

This year’s Global Village has 27 pavilions, more than 250 dining options and more than 3,500 shopping outlets. It also promised an “unbeatable lineup of attractions”.

One of the newest attractions is Dragon Lake, which will have a fire and laser show every hour. Visitors can also enjoy Dallah at Gate of the World for 3D projection shows.

Global Village also has Mini World, a new destination where visitors can see miniature versions of landmarks around the world, food kiosks as well as a mini golf zone.

One of the 40,000 world-class shows to run in Global Village is the new Cyber City Stunt Show – Powered by Surge.

Fireworks will be a regular feature every Friday and Saturday at 9pm.

Tickets to Global Village will cost Dh30 at the gate and Dh27 if bought online. Value Tickets cost Dh25 at the gate, and Dh22.50 if bought online.

Visitors taking the bus will be able to head to Global Village on bus 102, 103, 104 and 106. The Roads and Transport Authority on Wednesday announced an additional bus route 107 from Al Nahda Bus Station. ICA/Expat Media
