A 9-year-old girl in Ajman has been repatriated from the UAE where she lived with her father who was recently arrested for drug trafficking.
The Ajman Women and Children Protection Foundation took temporary custody of the Asian child after Ajman Police handed her over to them following a raid.
Police had arrested her father at their home on drug charges. Police said the father used his daughter to cover up his illegal drug activities.
Authorities contacted the girl’s mother in her home country and have reunited the mother and daughter. ICA/Expat Media
