The Dubai Police recently unveiled new smart vehicles that will be rolled out to catch visa violators and other illegal residents.
According to Dubai Police, the vehicles are powered by Artificial Intelligence and can carry out facial scans and vehicle number plate scans, and alert police.
The Dubai Police did not say when the smart cars will be rolled out, but said they will be deployed in community areas to alert police of wanted individuals.
A senior Dubai Police official said that the vehicle is equipped with a 360-degree camera and motion detector, and can operate for up to 16 hours.
