The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) announced that schools in Dubai will reopen on Tuesday (May 17).
The authority wrote on their official Twitter account that all schools, universities, and different types of educational institutions will be closed on Monday (May 16) with respect to the death of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Friday (May 13).
Schools, universities, early childhood centres and training institutes will be closed on Monday, reopening on Tuesday next week.

The announcement was made after the authority expressed their condolences to the late great leader in their online post.
The UAE has declared a 40-day mourning period beginning on Friday. For government offices and private sectors, a three-day work suspension will be implemented starting on Saturday (May 14). KSO/Expat Media
