DUBAI – A Dubai resident has been fined Dh10,000 for hosting a house party that violated the UAE’s Covid-19 precautionary rules, according to a Dubai Police official.

The woman’s guests and members of a live band that performed at the party were also fined Dh5,000, said Brigadier Jamal Salem Al Jallaf, director of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Dubai Police.
