DUBAI – Not exactly your regular flash mob, but healthcare workers in Dubai recently sang and danced to an uplifting medley to chase the Covid-19 blues away.
With a bit of social distancing, 15 medical staff took to the lobby of Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai to perform a medley of feel-good tunes.
In their scrubs, Chucks, rubber shoes and masks, the frontliners enthusiastically sang and danced to their heart’s content.
Their playlist began with the inspiring Lean on Me by Bill Withers, followed by some rock and roll in Bad Case of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor). They wrapped up with Jimmy Cliff’s hit song I Can See Clearly Now.
No, the Covid-19 crisis is not over, but these positive frontliners are helping us to see that it indeed is going to be a bright, bright, sunshiny day.
