DUBAI – A Spanish flight attendant in Dubai is facing drug charges in court after two men told police that he supplied them with crystal methamphetamine.
The case unfolded after the men were arrested by Dubai Police in the Jumeirah Beach Residence area in June last year when they violated the emirate’s stay at home rules.
Police found a syringe and drugs in their possession. Their urine samples also showed them positive for using crystal meth.
During questioning, the men said they got the drugs from the flight attendant.
Police were able to get a warrant of arrest in order to search the flight attendant’s Sheikh Zayed Road apartment the next day.
Police did not find any drugs in the premises, and his urine sample also tested negative for traces of illegal drugs.
At the Dubai Criminal Court, the flight attendant denied supplying drugs to the men. The court is expected to issue a verdict on February 7. ICA/Expat Media
