Dubai fitness centre shut down for repeated Covid-19 violations


DUBAI – A fitness centre in Dubai has been shut down for repeated Covid-19 rule violations, according to authorities.

Three more sports centres were also fined for failing to enforce social distancing and the wearing of masks among customers.

The centres were caught during the latest round of inspections by the Department of Economic Development, Dubai Municipality and Dubai Sports Council.

Authorities have been closely monitoring establishments in the emirate as part of efforts to curb the spread of coronavirus. ICA/Expat Media
