Dubai and Abu Dhabi are among the top 10 of the world’s most desirable destinations.
A recent study by Boston Consulting Group (BGC) revealed that Dubai and Abu Dhabi appeared to be the cities of choice where people are happy to live in terms of economic opportunities, quality of life, growth, and development.
The two cities ranked 8th and 9th, respectively.
Participated by 50,000 people in 79 cities, the study covered why people move to these cities and the measure of policies to attract new residents.
The evaluation was based on five categories: Economic Opportunities, Quality of Life, Social Capital, Interaction with Authorities, and Speed of Change.
Safety, housing, and the ability to influence events were also part of the 26 sub-categories.
Dubai scored 57.2 points out of 100, while Abu Dhabi gained 57.8 points.
Washington ranked first, followed by Singapore, and San Francisco in third place.
Overall, the Boston Consulting Group’s rankings reflect if cities met the expectations of their residents. RZSP/Expat Media
