Filipino retired bank VP in Saudi Arabia now DMW official to teach Filipinos in UAE how to tap reintegration program in Philippines

A retired Filipino bank vice president in Saudi Arabia who is now the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Assistant Secretary will be speaking in an online session on Saturday (June 29) to teach Filipinos in the UAE how to tap the DMW’s Reintegration Programs in the Philippines.

DMW Assistant Secretary Venecio “Ka Vennie” Legaspi will be sharing his experience as well as introduce the programs available for Filipino Overseas Workers who want to find jobs, set up businesses or simply reintegrate into the country.

Legaspi worked in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for 29 years, rising from the ranks to become Vice President of a prominent bank. He retired in 2021 and returned to the Philippines where he established Vista de Las Navas Resort in northern Samar. He later found a new career in the Department of Migrant Workers, after being invited by the late DMW Secretary Susan “Toots” Ople to join the “Dream Team” of the DMW in August, 2022.

On Saturday, Legaspi will be the guest speaker in the online session on the DMW’s Reintegration Programs at 4pm.The online session is being organized by the CFC community members in the UAE.
