A Dh6 million camel festival race will be held in Sharjah’s Al Dhaid Square, the Ruler of Sharjah has ordered.
Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, ordered the multi-million funding to boost the 2022-2023 season.
The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) thanks Dr. Sheikh Sultan for his support, saying that the festival will enhance the ancient Arab heritage of camel racing in the UAE.
Al Hazami added that the SSC will coordinate with the Sharjah Camel Racing Club to plan the season with festival races.
