Homegrown Halal brand Chicking continues rapid expansion in UAE

DUBAI – Chicking opened its newest outlet in City Centre Deira on Tuesday (July 13) as the homegrown brand continues its rapid expansion in the UAE.

The newest Chicking outlet is located on the main food court of Deira’s popular mall, and comes within months after Chicking opened an outlet in City Centre Al Zahia, Sharjah’s biggest mall.

With the opening of the Chicking outlet in City Centre Deira, the Halal quick service restaurant chain now has a total of 22 outlets in the UAE. Chicking is also set to open a new outlet in Dubai Silicon Oasis later this year.

“We are glad that customers have continued to support us despite the pandemic, allowing us to expand our reach with the opening of more Chicking stores in the biggest malls in the UAE,” Chicking officials said.

Chicking has outlets in Mall of Emirates, Ibn Battuta Mall and City Centre Shindagha in Dubai, Remal Mall in Al Ain, City Centre Al Zahia in Sharjah, Ajman Cooperative Society, as well as in Abu Dhabi.

“We will continue with our promise of good, Halal food at affordable prices,” Chicking officials said.

Chicking is considered the world’s first Halal quick-service restaurant chain, which started in Dubai in 2000 and now has more than 180 outlets in over 20 countries, including in Ireland, Indonesia, India, Hungary, Maldives, Egypt, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and many more countries in UK, Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Chicking’s Halal concept has also made it very popular in Africa, the Middle East and in Asia’s predominantly Muslim countries, including Indonesia.

With its slogan “it’s my choice”, Chicking offers a multi-cuisine menu that includes its Signature Fried Chicken, Grilled Chicken, pizza, pasta, wraps and burgers. ICA/Expat Media
