In a video that quickly went viral on social media, Cardi B is captured throwing a microphone at a concertgoer who hurled a drink at her during a performance in Las Vegas on Saturday (July 29).
The rapper was in the middle of performing her 2018 hit “Bodak Yellow” in Drai’s Beachclub when a concertgoer splashed a drink on her.
In the footage shared on Pop Base Twitter, Cardi B can be seen wearing a vibrant orange dress as she performed her 2018 hit “Bodak Yellow.” As she raised her microphone to continue singing, a sudden spray of liquid hit her in the face, seemingly from a cup thrown by an audience member.
Cardi B appeared momentarily shocked before hurling her microphone at the likely offender. Security immediately intervened and escorted the person out from the audience.

The shocking incident was caught on camera and swiftly went viral on social media platforms, igniting discussions about the need for enhanced security measures at concerts.
It wasn’t the first time during the weekend that Cardi B resorted to using her microphone as more than just a singing tool. A separate incident earlier in Las Vegas saw her throwing the microphone at a DJ during her performance. The reasons behind this action remain unclear, but reports suggest she was annoyed at getting cut off during her performance.
