How to cancel UAE travel ban using your phone or laptop

Authorities in the UAE can impose a travel ban on individuals for various reasons, which then prevents them from entering or leaving the country.

Experts say these bans can be due to administrative or legal reasons, including defaulting on loan or credit card payments, or overstaying a visa.

In case you have a travel ban in the UAE, here are five steps on how you can cancel it by using your mobile phone or laptop.

1. Go to the UAE Ministry of Justice website moj.gov.ae and log in using your UAE Pass credentials.

2. Go to the Cancellation Request of Travel Ban Order page (or click here). To access the service, click here

3. Find the Case Management tab and click on “My Cases” to view details about your case(s).

4. Click on “Request” for cancellation. You will then be asked to fill out an e-form with your details. Make sure to provide all the necessary documents to support your request.
