Big Ticket: Bangladeshi driver in Ras Al Khaimah wins Dh1 million

A Bangladeshi driver in Ras Al Khaimah has bagged the Dh1 million prize in the Big Ticket weekly e-draw, according to Big Ticket on Wednesday (December 20).

Mohamed, 56, works as a personal driver in Ras Al Khaimah. He bought his Big Ticket entry with money pooled with his group of friends.

“We are a group of 19 people, we have been buying Big Ticket every month for one year now. This is the third time for me to buy a ticket under my name,” Mohamed said.

The expat said he bought four tickets with Big Ticket’s Buy 2 Get 2 Free promotion. “I selected two tickets, and my friends selected the other two. The winning ticket was chosen by me,” he shared. His group will be splitting the cash prize.

When asked about what he plans to do with his share of the prize money, Mohamed said: “I might buy a new house in Bangladesh for my children ‘’

Meanwhile, Big Ticket’s grand draw has been moved to December 31 at 2pm, where 13 winners will be chosen, including the grand winner of the Dh20 million jackpot.

Customers who buy Big Ticket until December 24 will also get the chance to win Dh1 million in the weekly e-draw on December 25. Those who buy tickets from December 25 to 30 can enter the draw on December 31. ICA/Expat Media
