DUBAI – Two men have been arrested for breaking into an ATM machine in Ajman and attempting to steal cash inside, according to the Ajman Police.
The incident happened on March 30. Police said the suspects used a crowbar and hammer to open the machine.
“We received a report about the theft attempt and a team was immediately formed to investigate,” said Lt Col Ahmed Al Nuaimi of Ajman Police.
The suspects were arrested within 48 hours of the attempted theft. “The suspects were found at their place of residence along with the tools used in the crime,” he added.
During interrogation, the duo admitted to the crime. Their case has been referred to the public prosecution for legal action. DAJ/Expat Media
