When will Ain Dubai reopen to the public?

Ain Dubai has been closed for more than a year, and visitors seeing the unmissable landmark on Dubai’s Bluewaters Island are asking: when will it reopen?

The world’s biggest and tallest Ferris wheel has been closed for maintenance since March 2022.

It was supposed to reopen by March 2023 but in a latest announcement, Ain Dubai said that the attraction will remain closed.

According to Ain Dubai, the attraction “remain closed until further notice as we continue to rigorously work on completing the enhancement works that have been taking place over the past months.”

Ain Dubai did not provide details about a reopening date, but said that once the attraction reopens, visitors can look forward to “new and exciting offers”.

Ain Dubai features 48 air-conditioned passenger cabins that can accommodate a total of 1,750 visitors. The cabins have 360-degree views of Dubai’s skyline. ICA/Expat Media
